A lot of racism going on in the world right now. who's more racist? black people or white people? black people. you know why? 'cuz we hate black people too! everything white people don't like about black people, black people really don't like about black people.

I felt like it was a courageous show [black-ish] from the beginning. we are a black family - we're not a family that happens to be black. but the show is not even about us being black. the show is about us being a family. that is groundbreaking - on tv, the black characters either happen to be black or they're the "black character," where everything they say is about being black. i think that's the genius.

You can't have anything valuable in your house. niggers will break in and take it all! everything white people don't like about black people, black people don't like about black people. it's like our own personal civil war. on one side, there's black people. on the other, you've got niggers. the niggers have got to go. i love black people, but i hate niggers. i am tired of niggers. tired, tired, tired.

And talking about dark! you think dark is just one color, but it ain't. there're five or six kinds of black. some silky, some woolly. some just empty. some like fingers. and it don't stay still, it moves and changes from one kind of black to another. saying something is pitch black is like saying something is green. what kind of green? green like my bottles? green like a grasshopper? green like a cucumber, lettuce, or green like the sky is just before it breaks loose to storm? well, night black is the same way. may as well be a rainbow.
