A Scot has been killed whereas serving as a medic with the Ukrainian military, his household has stated.
Jordan Maclachlan, 26, from Ardnamurchan, volunteered to assist Ukraine after Russia’s invasion in February 2022.
His household stated he died on Friday whereas serving on the frontline.
In a press release, they stated: “Jordan at all times believed that he was making a distinction and we’re all so happy with him serving to others.”

Mr Maclachlan’s household stated he joined Ukraine’s military quickly after volunteering three years in the past.
