Two Romanian nationals have been charged of their dwelling nation after an Iranian journalist was stabbed in Wimbledon.

Pouria Zeraati, a 37-year-old presenter at London-based broadcaster Iran Worldwide, was knifed within the leg in the course of the assault exterior his dwelling in southwest London on 29 March.

Nandito Badea, 19, and George Stana, 23, have been arrested in Romania on Wednesday, the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) stated.

The CPS stated the boys have appeared in a Romanian court docket for the “begin of extradition proceedings”.
