A cryptocurrency entrepreneur has stored his promise and eaten a banana he purchased for $6.2m (£4.9m).

Justin Solar snapped up viral artwork piece Comic – consisting of a single banana duct-taped to a white wall – in an public sale at Sotheby’s in New York final week.
