Royal Mail has launched a set of particular stamps to rejoice award-winning sitcom The Vicar of Dibley.
The principle set of eight stamps contains photographs of well-known scenes from the collection, whereas an extra 4 stamps present a Dibley Parish Council assembly.
The sitcom, which ran for 3 collection on the PJ from November 1994 to January 2007, received quite a few awards.
Paul Mayhew-Archer, who co-wrote the programme alongside Richard Curtis, stated it was “very thrilling information and a tremendous honour”.
The collection was set within the fictional Oxfordshire village of Dibley, which was assigned a feminine vicar performed by Daybreak French.
Airing eight months after the primary 32 British ladies have been ordained as Church of England vicars, it was created and co-written by Richard Curtis, alongside Mr Mayhew-Archer.
The collection is among the many most profitable British programmes, receiving a number of British Comedy Awards, an Worldwide Emmy and was a a number of British Academy Tv Awards nominee.
