Science is science. science is what is. after discovery, tests, trial, if a consensus of scientists today said that the sun orbits around the earth, would we say that they're right simply because there is a consensus? no. because we know the earth orbits around the sun just as if there were a consensus that the earth is flat would we agree with them? no. so there can't be a consensus on something that hasn't been proven. this is a political movement. this whole global warming thing is a political movement.

While the us constitution marks these programs as illegal, my government argues that secret court rulings, which the world is not permitted to see, somehow legitimize an illegal affair. these rulings simply corrupt the most basic notion of justice - that it must be seen to be done. the immoral cannot be made moral through the use of secret law.

I remember the president-elect [donald trump] saying that i`m going to do something to dramatically, positively change communities, particularly in urban areas, and i think we`ve got to hold his feet to the fire to all those issues as well as all the issues that you addressed, you and many others addressed yesterday as it relates to criminal justice, as it relates to voting oppression.

I believe abortion should be safe and legal in this country. i believe that since roe v wade has been the law for 20 years that we should sustain and support it. and i sustain and support that law and the right of a woman to make that choice. we can believe what we want, but will will not force our beliefs on others on that matter. and you will not see me waivering on that.
