My advice for someone who wants to be creative but has a chronic illness is to think of something that you can do as opposed to all the things you can't do - and do that. it's just like gardening: what can grow in this soil? there's some soil you can grow roses in and some soil you can only grow cactuses in, so if you can only grow cactuses, become the best cactus grower in the whole world. taking care of yourself is the most important thing. find something that makes you happy. don't get down on yourself that you can't run a 4k or dance all night long at a fun club. give yourself a break.

Remember to stop as often as necessary to re-connect your energy. stay full, stay in a state of love. remember that once you achieve the state of love, nothing nor anyone can pull more energy from you that you can replace. in fact, the energy flowing out of you creates a current that pulls energy into you at the same rate. you can never run out. but you must stay conscious of this process in order for it to work. this is especially important when you interact with people.

So when somebody asks me to make a decision about a situation, i don't offer a solution, i ask a question: what are our options? give me the good, give me the bad, give me the pretty, give me the ugly, give me the impossible, give me the possible, give me the convenient, give me the inconvenient. give me the options. all i want are options. and once i have all the options before me, then i comfortably and confidently make my decision.
