The education system is where young skulls full of mush are programmed and propagandized into the system. they are highly valuable. that's why they're subsidized. you know, universities are approaching the same circumstance we have in health care. what it costs is not related at all to market forces. meaning what it costs is not related to what people can afford. you get right down to it, how many americans, how many families can afford 20,000, 30,000, $50,000 a year or semester to send their kids off to college? it has to be subsidized.

Subsidies for the oil, gas and coal industries are projected to cost taxpayers more than $135 billion in the coming decade. at a time when scientists tell us we need to reduce carbon pollution to prevent catastrophic climate change, it is absurd to provide massive subsidies that pad fossil-fuel companies' already enormous profits.

We thought that the odds of things working ok were up in the upper 90 percent or we wouldn't have gone. but the - there were some problems cropped up on the flight but was able to take care of those ok and - although they were things that we hadn't really trained that much for. but it was the time of the cold war and so there were was a lot of pressure on the - to get going and the russians were claiming that they were - soviets were claiming they were ahead of us in technology.

I put messages out there that start with why and they talk about what i believe. they go on to demonstrate and give examples. if it resonates with others, those with whom it resonates will share it with their friends and say, "this inspired me. you should watch it. you should read this."

You read a bunch of books and you get a bunch of how-tos, and you take a bunch of classes and you learn a bunch of techniques. you set yourself goals and benchmarks. i think people have imported that into their experience of taking care of children.
