I feel that non-violence is really the only way that we can follow because violence is just so self-defeating. a riot ends up creating many more problems for the negro community than it solved. we can through violence burn down a building, but you can't establish justice. you can murder a murderer, but you can't murder murder through violence. you can murder a hater, but you can't murder hate. and what we're trying to get rid of is hate, injustice, and all of these other things that continue the long night of man's inhumanity to man.

I feel like, when we're kids, you're sold into this fairy tale of what love is. that prince charming's gonna come along and save you and you're gonna live happily ever after. they're gonna rescue me from the bronx, and we're gonna go off and live in a castle somewhere and it's gonna be awesome. he's gonna love me forever, and i'm gonna love him forever, and it's gonna be real easy. and it's so different than that.

My take is that acting is acting. a performance is a performance. with performance capture, if you don't get the performance on the day, you can't enhance the performance.
