If i'm a blessing to you, then either god will put it on your heart to bless me, or he'll use somebody else to bless me. if i'm friendly with you, then i'll have friends. if i'm merciful with people, the bible says i'll get mercy back. if i'm not judgmental, then people won't be judgmental with me. and it works also with finances. if you give to help other hurting people and you give to the preaching of the gospel, because you love god, then god takes care of you.

Reality check: you can never, ever, use weight loss to solve problems that are not related to your weight. at your goal weight or not, you still have to live with yourself and deal with your problems. you will still have the same husband, the same job, the same kids, and the same life. losing weight is not a cure for life.

Every time someone starts talking about weight, it takes away from the fight. no one is born at that weight. we grew into that weight. it is all about the challenge, more so than the weight.

If you have one article of clothing that's very expensive, you don't have to have the whole ensemble and look like a christmas tree. to wear the clothes, to not let them wear you. and to really remember that clothes are beautiful. it's like are you gonna wear something that people say: "oh that's a great blouse." or are you gonna wear something that people say: "oh you look great today.." .
