Police are “more and more involved” for the welfare of a skier who went lacking in Scotland’s Cairngorms mountain vary in a single day.
Sam Burns, 40, has not been involved with buddies since 11.30am yesterday morning, when he was snowboarding alone within the space.
He has since didn’t return to his van, which is parked within the Cairngorm Mountain automobile park.
It’s believed he deliberate to ski Y Gully or Diagonal Gully from the Cairngorm Plateau.

Inspector Craig Johnstone mentioned: “We have gotten more and more involved for Sam’s welfare and are eager to hint him as quickly as attainable.
“We imagine he deliberate to ski Y Gully or Diagonal Gully from the Cairngorm Plateau.
“I might attraction to anybody who was on the Cairngorm Plateau or inside Loch Avon Basin on Friday December 13 2024 and who could have seen Sam to get in contact, and to anybody with info on his whereabouts to come back ahead as quickly as attainable.
