A North Yorkshire police officer has died after she was struck by a lorry whereas serving to on the scene of an earlier street accident.
PC Rosie Prior was standing on the verge of the A19 at Bagby, close to Thirsk, with the motive force and passenger of one of many vehicles concerned when the lorry collided with them at 08:55 GMT on Saturday morning.
