North Yorkshire Police mentioned a property was searched on Saturday and a considerable amount of money and sophistication B medicine had been confiscated.

The pressure mentioned a lady and man, each of their 40s, had been arrested on suspicion of cash laundering and drug offences and brought into custody.

A spokesperson for North Yorkshire Police mentioned it was the newest of a number of drug warrant operations within the York suburb.

Sergeant Stuart Henderson, of York’s neighbourhood policing staff, mentioned: “Individuals who dwell and work in Clifton are very clear that drug sellers aren’t welcome there, and I’d wish to thank the neighborhood for working with us.

“This has enabled us to execute a number of warrants within the space and detain quite a lot of suspects.

“We’ll be persevering with this work and I’d urge anybody who has info that would assist us scale back crime to share it with us so we will act on it.”
