Man charged with aiding Daniel Khalife after prison escape

A 25-year-old man has been charged with helping Daniel Khalife after he escaped from Wandsworth Jail in September 2023.

The Metropolitan Police stated Imran Chowdhury, from Chingford, east London, was arrested in January 2024, and charged in December.

Mr Chowdhury is because of seem at Westminster Magistrates’ Court docket on Tuesday, the pressure added.

Khalife escaped by strapping himself to the underside of a meals supply van.

The previous British military soldier was arrested in London following a four-day man-hunt.
