Nationwide Highways is advising diverted visitors to observe the hole triangle diversion image, telling drivers to:

– Exit the M1 northbound at J16 and take the first exit on the roundabout onto the A45

– Proceed westbound on the A45 to Flore Roundabout and take the 2nd exit onto the A45 Weedon Bypass

– Proceed westbound alongside the A45 Weedon Bypass till the roundabout with the A5.

– Flip proper on the roundabout and be part of the A5 Watling Avenue and proceed till the roundabout with the A428

– On the roundabout, be part of the A428 and proceed over the Railport Method roundabout till the A5/A428 Parklands Roundabout

– On the roundabout take the third exit onto the A5 and proceed eastbound to then re-join the M1 northbound at J18
