A person and a teenage boy have been rushed to hospital after a horror bus stabbing in Birmingham.
Emergency providers rushed to the scene on Colebrook Street in Sparkhill shortly earlier than 3pm on Wednesday afternoon, in line with West Midlands Police.
Photos from the scene present the assault occurred on a quantity 4 bus, which is now sitting stationary inside a police cordon. Officers proceed to analyze the horror stabbing. Native diversions are in place.
The bus was initially heading in the direction of Solihull Station, by way of Sparkbrook and Tyseley. The A41 Warwick Street, a key route by the town, stays closed in each instructions as investigators work on the scene.
West Midlands Ambulance confirmed that each males, 32 and 17, have been handled on the medical crews, with one man receiving trauma care. He was rushed to hospital on blue lights and the second man was handled on the scene.
A spokesperson for West Midlands Police stated: “We’re investigating after a person and an adolescent have been stabbed on a bus in Birmingham this afternoon (December 4). We have been referred to as at 2.45pm to Colebrook Street in Sparkhill.
“A person aged 32 and a 17-year-old boy have been taken to hospital the place they continue to be in a severe situation. Our investigation is in its very early levels and we’re interesting for anybody who has not but spoken to us to come back ahead.
“The scene is being held. Warwick Street on the junction of Colebrook Street in Sparkhill stays closed.”
