About 83.9 million passengers travelled by means of Heathrow’s terminals in 2024, the airport has mentioned.
This record-breaking quantity is 4.7 million greater than in 2023 and three million greater than the earlier annual document in 2019, earlier than the pandemic.
Heathrow forecasts it’s going to serve 84.2 million passengers this 12 months.
It added it might be investing over £1bn this 12 months to make the airport match for the longer term.
