George Russell has stated Max Verstappen threatened to “put [his] f***ing head within the wall” and accused the Purple Bull star of intentionally pushing to crash into him in the course of the Qatar Grand Prix.

The pair have been concerned in a spat finally weekend’s occasion, with Verstappen accusing the Mercedes driver of being two-faced after the stewards adjudged the Verstappen had impeded Russell in qualifying.

Verstappen then stated he had misplaced “all respect” for Russell, claiming he “tried to drive a penalty on me”.

Hitting again, Russell stated: “That’s not a man that I respect.”
