Hypocrisy is bad, but it's not the worst vice in the world. if i declared “murder is wrong” and then killed somebody, i would hope that the top count against me would be homicide, not hypocrisy. liberal elites ' particularly in hollywood ' believe that hypocrisy is the gravest sin in the world, which is why they advocate their own lifestyles for the entire world: sleep with whomever you want, listen to your own instincts, be true to yourself, blah, blah, blah. our fear of hypocrisy is forcing us to live in a world where gluttons are fine, so long as they champion gluttony.

I have become a giant fan of the testing process, especially with a comedy. i mean, they tell you what's funny. it's almost tailor-made for people who shoot the way we shoot, trying a million different options and versions of things. because the audience doesn't laugh at a joke, we put in another joke. if they don't laugh at the next joke, we put in another joke. you just keep doing them and you can get the movie to the point where every joke is funny, if you have enough options in the can.

Even dramatically how you position some person, the depth, the existence [in 3d] is different than a flat image even though by itself it has depth, we create the illusion of depth. for example, some of the shots i have to stay closer to the actor because it's a young actor, i like it closer for some of the shots. i watch 2d scenes next to the camera, then when i go back to my station and watch it in 3d i have to go back and reduce his acting, he has to shrink a little bit because he peeks out more.
