' it's described as a detailed scientific view of global warming. president bush said he just saw a film about global warming, 'ice age 2; the meltdown.' he said, 'it's so much better than that boring al gore movie.'

We have many advantages in the fight against global warming, but time is not one of them. instead of idly debating the precise extent of global warming, or the precise timeline of global warming, we need to deal with the central facts of rising temperatures, rising waters, and all the endless troubles that global warming will bring. we stand warned by serious and credible scientists across the world that time is short and the dangers are great. the most relevant question now is whether our own government is equal to the challenge.

Global warming snowstorm algore, paralyzing the upper midwest two weeks before winter. every time he shows up someplace, every time, it's almost comical, every time al gore shows up someplace there's either an outbreak of weather that is the exact opposite of what he's talking about, he never does seem to get embarrassed. that's why they stopped calling it global warming and now call it climate change so that virtually every perceived abnormality can be said to be caused by climate change.

Oil is a tangible commodity, so there is a global market. the fact that we may need less may affect the global price because we're big consumers: we probably take about a quarter of global demand. but if suddenly, let's just use a crazy example, fighting in the middle east led to the closure of the strait of hormuz and no oil could get out through the strait of hormuz, well that would affect china, india, europe, it will affect the whole global economy. it will affect us, too, then.
