We walked on the beach, fed blue corn ships to the seagulls, and munched on blue jelly beans, blue saltwater taffy and all the other free samples my mom brought home from work. i guess i should explain the blue food. see, gabe had once told my mom there was no such thing. they had this fight, which seemed like a really small thing at the time. but ever since, my mom went out of her way to eat blue. she baked blue birthday cakes. she mixed blueberry smoothies. she bought blue-corn tortilla chips and brought home blue candy from the shop.

The struggle for socialism is the struggle for proletarian (working class) democracy. proletarian democracy is not the crown of socialism. socialism is the result of proletarian democracy. to the degree that the proletariat mobilizes itself and the great masses of the people, the socialist revolution is advanced. the proletariat mobilizes itself as a self-acting force through its own committees, unions, parties, and other organizations.

There should be a class on drugs. there should be a class on sex education-a real sex education class-not just pictures and diaphragms and 'un-logical' terms and things like that.....there should be a class on scams, there should be a class on religious cults, there should be a class on police brutality, there should be a class on apartheid, there should be a class on racism in america, there should be a class on why people are hungry, but there are not, there are classes on gym, physical education, let's learn volleyball.

The job market of the future will consist of those jobs that robots cannot perform. our blue-collar work is pattern recognition, making sense of what you see. gardeners will still have jobs because every garden is different. the same goes for construction workers. the losers are white-collar workers, low-level accountants, brokers, and agents.

The flaw in our character is our insistence on separating blue-collar jobs from white-collar jobs, and encouraging one form of education over another.
