I'm of the opinion that the real is imagined and the imagined is quite real. the real is imagined, in the sense that we shape our stories, so anything that even happens on the news gets shaped in a certain way and gets a texture, and that the imagined can be real.

What i don't like is when i see stuff that i know has had a lot of improv done or is playing around where there's no purpose to the scene other than to just be funny. what you don't want is funny scene, funny scene, funny scene, and now here's the epiphany scene and then the movie's over.

I love actors and i understand what has to happen within a scene. any scene is an acting scene and actors never act alone, so there has to be an interchange. if it's a dialog scene, if it's a love scene, it doesn't matter because you need to establish a situation.

We all have to show up and do our job regardless of our life circumstances or situations. we don't have to do it with an attitude or whatever but maybe we do that day. everyone understands that life happens and we have to create a whole other life where our life doesn't even exist. you know, our real life doesn't exist, these characters exist. and that is our life. and that's who we are.

Gay people exist. there's nothing we can do in public policy that makes more of us exist, or less of us exist. and you guys have been arguing for a generation that public policy ought to essentially demean gay people as a way of expressing disapproval of the fact that we exist, but you don't make any less of us exist. you just are arguing in favor of more discrimination, and more discrimination doesn't make straight people's lives any better.

Evil does not exist sir, or at least it does not exist unto itself. evil is simply the absence of god. it is just like darkness and cold, a word that man has created to describe the absence of god. god did not create evil. evil is not like faith, or love that exist just as does light and heat. evil is the result of what happens when man does not have god's love present in his heart. it's like the cold that comes when there is no heat or the darkness that comes when there is no light.
