Do we need to make a special effort to enjoy the beauty of the blue sky? do we have to practice to be able to enjoy it? no, we just enjoy it. each second, each minute of our lives can be like this. wherever we are, any time, we have the capacity to enjoy the sunshine, the presence of each other, even the sensation of our breathing. we don't need to go to china to enjoy the blue sky. we don't have to travel into the future to enjoy our breathing. we can be in touch with these things right now.

In this way the ego detaches itself from the external world. it is more correct to say: originally the ego includes everything, later it detaches from itself the external world. the ego-feeling we are aware of now is thus only a shrunken vestige of a far more extensive feeling - a feeling which embraced the universe and expressed an inseparable connection of the ego with the external world.

I'm very fortunate that i get asked to do very different kinds of roles and i realize how much i enjoy that. i enjoy the challenge of transformation. there are actors who play one character, or a certain kind of character, the whole of their lives. i really relish the opportunity to have the challenge to totally transform.
