I brought a picture with me that i had at home, of a girl in a swing with a castle and pretty blue bubbles in the background, to hang in my room, but that nurse here said the girl was naked from the waist up and not appropriate. you know, i've had that picture for fifty years and i never knew she was naked. if you ask me, i don't think the old men they've got here can see well enough to notice that she's bare-breasted. but, this is a methodist home, so she's in the closet with my gallstones.

Do not really like rich people, as they make us poor people feel dopey and inadequate. not that we are poor. i would say we are middle. we are very, very lucky. i know that. but still, it is not right that rich people make us middle people feel dopey and inadequate.

I'm going out with these old guys. one guy gave me a hickey and left his teeth in my neck. another man, we were having a perfectly lovely dinner; he looked up and me and went: you're not my wife! another guy died during dinner. i had to go in his pocket to get the american express card. then you wonder: what would he tip? another guy said: i want you to meet my family, and took me to the cemetery.
