I spent my entire childhood in the same town, in kent. i went to grade school there. there was a boarding school that my mother taught at, called - appropriately enough - kent school, that i went to. yeah, pretty much my entire childhood was spent in that town.

I don't know if one's more typecasting than the other, or what i am more like. but i know that the high school i went to was a private school. it was prep school. it was a boarding school. so we didn't have a shop class. we didn't have saturday detention. we went to school on saturday. we did have sunday study, which you very rarely get, because then you have 13 straight days of school. who wants that?

We are having the single worst recovery the u.s. has had since the great depression. i don't care how you measure it. the east coast knows it. the west coast knows it. north, south, old, young, everyone knows it's the worst recovery since the great depression.

I went to a catholic university and there's something about being a catholic-american. you know, st. patrick's day is, i'm irish-catholic. there's alcoholism in my family. it's like i've got to be catholic, right?

I was quite straight-laced. i was quite academic until i was about 14 and then i went to boarding school where i had the opportunity to continue to be very academic, but got less interested in it and became more involved in acting. and then when i was applying for universities i used a couple of places on my ucas form to apply for drama school without telling anyone... but didn't get into drama school. but that was the most rebellious thing i did.
