I don't think all films should necessarily look like they do on digital video. i think it cheats the audience, at some point. if you try to make an epic and you shoot it digitally, that doesn't make much sense. i think there's a certain kind of film that could be a "digital film." but it shouldn't be interchangeable with other films. it should be something more than just a capture medium. it should be a different form altogether, something new.

Just because you’ve only been alive for fifteen years doesn’t mean you’re less anything except old. that’s all it means. it doesn’t mean you’re less experienced. it doesn’t mean you’re less intelligent. it doesn’t mean you’re less sensitive. it doesn’t mean you take things less seriously. it’s like, these are younger human beings, meaning don’t, because they’re only ten, start thinking that they don’t know what you’re talking about -because they do. don’t leave people out in the cold, and don’t talk down to people -don’t. it never works out.
Mean Thinking Intelligent
Many people are under the delusion that i'm just a special-effects man, but i've worn many different hats in my day. on every film i've been involved in, i worked with the writer and producer. we really formulated those scripts. we tried to make films that were logical but still had the fantasy feel of it. i enjoy aardman animation's films with wallace and gromit, but they're obvious puppet films, whereas we tried to disguise it and make our effects characters in the films rather than obvious puppets.
Character Men People
I can remember how i sang - a little more nasal-y back then. listening to those old recordings is like seeing a photograph of yourself from 10 years ago. you're wearing what you thought looked cool at the time. you had your hair styled the particular way you thought looked cool. it's an accurate depiction of who you were and what you looked and sounded like at that point in your life. it doesn't necessarily mean that it aged in a way that it feels as cool or sounds as good to you, or says what you thought it said, 10 years later. that's just the nature of growing older.
