Pinterest sued by former executive for alleged gender discrimination

Pinterest is being accused of gender discrimination and retaliation, this time by a former government. In a lawsuit filed Tuesday, former Chief Working Officer Francoise Brougher alleged that she was marginalized and excluded from necessary selections for refusing to “take a back seat to her male peers.” Brougher stated she was terminated in April for objecting to demeaning and sexist therapy. 

“Pinterest’s feminine executives, even on the highest ranges, are marginalized, excluded, and silenced,” stated Brougher in a statement published on Medium. “In line with Pinterest, I used to be fired not for the outcomes I achieved, however for not being ‘collaborative.’ I imagine that I used to be fired for talking out concerning the rampant discrimination, hostile work setting, and misogyny that permeates Pinterest.”
