Pinterest adds third woman to board following claims of gender discrimination by former executive





Pinterest appointed Andrea Wishom, president at Skywalker Holdings and former government vice chairman at Harpo Productions, because the third lady on the corporate’s board.

Pinterest on Monday appointed a 3rd feminine director to the corporate’s board, days after a former feminine government accused the corporate of getting a discriminatory and misogynistic work surroundings. 

The corporate appointed Andrea Wishom, president at Skywalker Holdings and former government vice chairman at Harpo Productions. The opposite girls on the board are Leslie J. Kilgore, former chief advertising officer at Netflix, and Michelle Wilson, previously at Amazon. There are additionally 5 males on the board.

Final week, Francoise Brougher, Pinterest’s former chief working officer, filed a lawsuit towards the corporate for gender discrimination and published a 4,000-word blog post accusing the corporate of getting a hostile work surroundings that silences feminine executives. Following her lawsuit and weblog, Pinterest workers organized a virtual protest towards alleged gender and racial discrimination on the firm.

Pinterest CEO Ben Silbermann acknowledged Brougher and the worker protest in his announcement of Wishom.
