OnePlus co-founder has seemingly left the phone maker, report says

The co-founder of Chinese smartphone maker OnePlus has seemingly left the company, in response to a report Monday. Carl Pei was absent from an inner memo itemizing OnePlus‘ inner management, Android Police reported citing a screenshot by a Reddit user who prompt that Pei had both stepped down or was faraway from the place.

The reported departure comes simply forward of the OnePlus 8T event, which is happening on Oct. 14. OnePlus did not instantly reply to a request for remark.

In 2019, OnePlus ranked eighth within the US market with simply 0.6% market share, in response to Counterpoint Analysis, however its phone sales more than tripled last year — by far the largest acquire of any firm within the US market, the analyst agency mentioned.
