California Uber drivers sue company over Prop 22 app notifications

Now, a gaggle of the app’s drivers say the corporate’s lobbying has gone too far. The Washington Publish reports {that a} group of drivers have sued the trip hailing firm over its aggressive use of in-app pop-ups encouraging drivers to assist Prop 22. The in-app notifications require drivers to click on by way of the messages whereas they’re working. This quantities to “unlawful political coercion,” the lawsuit claims.
