Avatar 2: See Kate Winslet as a ‘water person’ shooting underwater scenes

Director James Cameron’s Avatar sequel may not hit theaters till 2022, however the forged and crew are already sharing behind-the-scenes photos from the frilly set in New Zealand. On Monday, Avatar producer Jon Landau posted a photo of actress Kate Winslet filming underwater

Winslet is taking part in “a water particular person” within the new Avatar film, and that involves underwater stunt work.

“Wished to share this picture of Kate Winslet after reading her interview in The Hollywood Reporter, Lando wrote on Instagram

“I needed to learn to free-dive to play that function in Avatar, and that was simply unbelievable,” Lando quoted Winslet saying in her interview. My longest breath-hold was seven minutes and 14 seconds, like loopy, loopy stuff. I play a water particular person. I’m a water particular person.”

Avatar 2 will see the return of Sam Worthington as Jake Sully, plus Zoe Saldana, Giovanni Ribisi and Sigourney Weaver in a task totally different from that of Dr. Grace Augustine.
