Apple becomes first U.S. company to reach a $2 trillion market cap

Apple hit a market cap of $2 trillion, doubling in valuation in simply over two years. It is the primary publicly traded U.S. firm to succeed in the $2 trillion milestone. 

Apple first reached a $1 trillion market cap on Aug. 2, 2018. Wall Road has largely anticipated Apple to be the primary to surpass the $2 trillion mark. On July 31, Apple surpassed the state oil large Saudi Aramco to grow to be the world’s most valuable publicly traded firm. 

It did not take lengthy for different tech giants to match Apple’s $1 trillion market cap. Right this moment, Amazon, Microsoft and Alphabet all have market caps above $1 trillion.
