Amazon’s consumer boss Jeff Wilke to step down in 2021

Amazon introduced Friday that Jeff Wilke, CEO of Worldwide Shopper, will retire from the corporate in 2021.  

Dave Clark, who’s senior vice chairman of retail operations, will succeed Wilke after he retires, Amazon mentioned. 

Wilke, who joined Amazon in 1999, was extensively regarded as a possible successor for CEO Jeff Bezos.

Representatives from Amazon did not instantly reply to a request for remark.
